I kid you not. 

On twitter today the forces of liberal progression were scratching each others eyes out as to whether Bradley "Chelsea" Manning us a hero or heroine. One of them is sexist says loony A. No, the other one is sexist says loony B. And so on...

Americans died at the Boston Marathon. Terror attacks in America are rare. This was headlines news all over the world. 

Americans died in an abortion clinic. Babies and at least one mum were murdered. Abortion is very common and very profitable big business. 

We have to ask why the mass murderer Kelvin Gosnell was not headline news for weeks across the media. 

Who are protecting the murderer? Why?

It seems to me that until the hierarchy is prepared to acknowledge the great harm done by homosexuals in the priesthood and expose the links between homosexuality and the 'paedophile scandal' that has enveloped the church, and destroyed Catholic lives, we will not find a way out of this.

Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine, Florida

Sorry for the lack of posts these last couple of weeks. I've been on "vacation" snippets from which will, I'm sure, enter my posts in the weeks ahead.


Suffice it to say we had the honour of visiting the national shrine of Mary Queen of the Universe, which as with much of the region of Florida lends itself to the Spanish style of building.


We were overwhelmed with the building with its external murals above the main doors of the chapel, the gift shop was amazing - so much for the eager Catholic. I was like a kid in a sweetie shop. The museum was very interesting, with "old" vestments from 1950s Belfast, some great paintings such as The Assumption of the Virgin Mary by Bartolome Murillo. Quite breathtaking and as I explained to our youngest, 'that was painted at the time of Charles I'.


Externally there is a lovely Rosary Garden, with many of the bricks in the path sponsored by families and individuals. At the centre of it is a breath-taking statue of Our Lady with the Christ Child, all a delight to see in the glorious Florida sun-shine.


Of course, as with the gift shop, there were a very few items that one skipped across because they detracted from the overall feel of the place (Eucharistic monster items in the former, modern art in the latter), but so far the signs were promising. 


On entering the chapel for Mass I was encouraged. In the foyer there were statues, a large Holy Water font, a Papal flag and more. Then we went into the chapel itself. The altar was a table in the modern style. A modern art crucified Christ hung above it on a see-through "cross."


My heart sank. If it weren't for the Stations of the Cross, beautiful paintings along the walls in-between some gorgeous stain glass windows, there would have been little to raise my heart and soul to Heaven. 


The choir was very professional, but far too "American" for me, the readings were in some awful modern version of the Bible with really, really dreadful modern usage one of which totally destroyed the meaning of the passage, the 'what should it profit a main to gain the world and lose his soul' had the word soul changed to 'life' which, to my mind, naturalises the supernatural.

The Chapel at the National Shrine

And the less said about the Eucharistic Monsters the better. As someone who finds Communion in the hand upsetting, the site of Tracy from accounts 'dishing out' the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has me on the verge of despair.


This, I feel, is what the Bishops have done in some countries. Is it too much to have altars, not tables? Is it too much to have consecrated hands distributing Communion, not Jo from the supermarket? Is it too much to have Communion placed on the tongue, not in the hand?


As with so many other Catholic churches I visit, this beautiful place reminds me what we have lost, and what we could have. With a high altar and a beautiful Crucifix, and a choir singing Gregorian Chant -- oh, we would be one step away from Heaven!

Cuomo - Please Bishops Make a Stand

Oh - btw, only 2,500 turned out for a "gay pride" event in Swansea last weekend. It rained on their parade.

That a freebie with pop stars (designed to get as many non-homosexuals along as possible) attracted such a derisory crowd shows that we Welsh aren't as fooled on this matter as other populations (sadly) are.

Another loss-making event propped up no doubt by Council Tax payers and Big Business sponsers. Shame on them.

Liberté, égalité, fraternité: Homosexual "Marriage" in New York

Why oh why oh why?

"Equality for all" is trending on Twitter and it turns out it is a celebration of some "law" allowing homosexuals to get "married."

I am reminded of the Chingford skinhead, Lord (Norman) Tebbitt who said that homosexuals have equality -- they can find someone of the opposite sex and get married, just like the rest of us. Delightfully un-pc and probably a "hate crime" today.

The sad thing is that all these laws promoting the sodomite agenda are, at base, deeply hateful. They are hateful of Mother Church, they are hateful of Our Lord Jesus Christ and his Kingship over society, and they are hateful of Christianity, pure and simple.

A handful of "activists" - and a big banner: says it all.

These laws, that promote homosexuality (a creed steeped in drugs, disease, hatred and death) do so whilst the minority-mob screech about "love." The silent majority just sit back and do nothing, because the politicos and media-moguls all seem to have signed up to this deeply, deeply anti-Catholic agenda.

Sadly the role of a diseased, sick, degenerate minority of primarily homosexuals who were allowed into the seminaries, in the church paedophile scandal has now, in turn, undermined the ability of our Holy Church to denounce such blatant amorality and immorality.

Catholicism must be the bastion of decency, the family and (stating the obvious) Catholic Truth, against the tidal wave of filth dressed up as "love" and using the Masonic battle cry of "liberté, égalité, fraternité" which starts by promising justice, but ends with those seeking to defend the Faith being guillotined.

P.S. Governor Cuomo who rubber stamped this law sounds like an Italian name. I hope his Catholic family ostracise this terrible man for his heinous act which will lead many souls to damnation.
